I've been looking over my blogs, and have been shocked to see I've neglected all of them, since March! Well, I have some good excuses. Between my ADHD (confirmed with a very professional online test), and a very special International Internet relationship with a very special man from Australia, I have been very distracted!!
Ok, truthfully, the relationship has been my major distraction. Mark has that effect on me. Unfortunately, the world is too much in the way, with extreme distances, financial issues, and long-term family obligations. We have had to face the harsh reality that meeting offline is highly unlikely, and there is no future for us. So, we are in the throes of breaking up, while trying to remain friends. The trouble is we are still very much in love with each other, so it is difficult to be just friends. Even on the Internet, we have had a very passionate relationship, which has lasted 9 months.
I've also been busy with a few causes: Net Neutrality, Save the Internet, Religious Freedom, Freedom of the Press, and ADHD. I post articles and start discussions on Facebook, and Tweet things on Twitter all the time. I also e-mail articles to family and friends.
Another thing I have been busy with is Facebook forums, mainly LDS forums, but also some political and ADHD forums. I also read a lot and study about the topics and causes I'm involved in.
Other than these things, I also take time to visit family and friends. The highlight of the summer is that last month I spent a week with Aaron and his family in PA. I flew into Baltimore on 12 September, and he and Ashlin picked me up at the airport. Then we went to the Baltimore Harbor waterfront, visited the USS Constellation and museum, and had lunch at the Hardrock Cafe. Then we went and picked up Gwen and Sabina and went home to Harrisburg. The next day, I went to see Ashlin's school. It's a very interesting place, very unique in its philosophy and manner of teaching. Later that week, we went to Hershey, PA to Chocolate Town. That was so much fun, with a 3-D movie, and a ride around the Chocolate Factory. One day we also went apple picking, and then Aaron and Gwen made a homemade apple pie. Best of all was seeing their new baby girl, Sabina, who was born in May. I put a lot of pictures on Facebook. I'm now thinking maybe I should start putting pictures on my blogs.
Well, now I'm up to date on this blog. I have two more blogs to update. And a few more projects in mind.
